Andrew Pharar founded Pharar Patents & Intellectual Property because of his passion for technology and admiration for being a part of the innovative solutions that are created to solve everyday challenges. Applying the art of IP law with unmatched precision and foresight, Andrew has the ability to comprehensively understand each invention that crosses his desk and preemptively identify its vulnerabilities for copyright infringement. His strategic approach ensures that every creation is meticulously safeguarded from potential vulnerabilities, providing robust coverage and defense against infringement.
Andrew boasts a unique and diverse educational background, including a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and doctorate degrees in both medicine (MD) and law (JD). Before discovering his love for intellectual property law, Andrew was an emergency room physician. It was there that he developed a passion for technological innovation and gained invaluable insights into the medical field and its advanced equipment. This experience provides him with a unique perspective on IP law, particularly in areas like medical devices, machinery, and complex tools and systems.
Licensed to practice before the USPTO and the California State Bar, Andrew's patent experience is extensive and includes the preparation of utility and design patent applications for projects developed worldwide, conducting prior art searches, and responding to USPTO office actions. Andrew is also the attorney of record for over 2,000 trademark applications and registrations, underscoring his deep commitment and success in the field.
